Newest addition to the family, Isabella Avery !!

INTRODUCING........Isabella Avery Pierce. I'm an Aunt again! She was born Wednesday at 11:28am weighing in at 7 pounds and 17 inches long. She is beautiful and looks like her Mom (I think she has her Daddy's mouth). New addition to the family !! Exciting, I can't wait until she is old enough to play with my two gremlins!!

Playtime with Miss Hadley Part II

We love sitting and reading books with Hadley's mom, our Auntie Genny. Today we also were finding and comparing our belly buttons. We thought this was hilarious and it was non-stop laughs for our Mama's. We love our playdates with Auntie Genny and Hadley!

Our visit with Hadley Part I

The past week has been busy for us. We had some playtime Sunday with our friend Miss Hadley! We enjoyed water breaks while playing and diving in the ballpit, chasing after each other in the hallways and spelling on the spelling chalkboard ! We had so much fun !

The Parkman's First Haircut

Well, I wish I could say I wasn't going to be one of the millions of Mom's who attempted to give the first haircut on their own and not regret the decision. It was never my intention to perform this task on my own. My intent was for Parkmans, Aunti M, a professional sylist, to give him a quick baby trim, making him the envy of all 16 1/2 month old dudes, this never came to pass. I must first backup and give you a small history. A few months I go I found out that "The Demon Barber of Baskerville, also makes stops in Oklahoma, in the shape of my husband, Sweeney Todd/TwinDad. I was then informed by TwinDad to , "chill out, he'd done it twice before" , dashing all the hope I 'd had for the first chunk of hair that is golden to all Mom's and is placed in the babybook under a specified location with pictures. Now, I have to submit a fake picture for the 'before" picture and the rough picture after my attempt. In my defense I will say that 2/3rd's of the haircut looks good, one side and the front, the other side, a tad short. Picture #1 reflects the side view, notice the longer pieces I missed in front of the ear, then I apparently intended to cut for about 2 inches too far after his ear. Poor guy. Picture #2 is the front view, showing how nice and uneven I was and still it wasn't short enough, it still hangs in his eyes. Mother of the Year right here.

I have now, via facebook recruited advice of friends as to where to take the Parkman. As for A.P. , she will not be touched by myself or TwinDad, we'll make sure we spare the girl from the same outcome that her poor brothers hair had to suffer due to parental stupidity !
P.S. I got a bigass piece of hair for his babybook..hehe.

Splish, Splash

Aunt Hillary, Uncle JD and Cousin Jack sent us our very first pool ! We love it and want to go swimmining everyday ! Parkman likes to fill the bucket up and dump it on people and A.P. likes to venture outside of the pool occasionally and cruise around the yard. We love being outside.

My Big Eaters !

Although my brother and I have diffent pallates and disagree frequently, we agree on a few things.....bananas, blueberries, waffles and penne pasta are the current faves.

Let's Start at One ...........

We're One !! We've made it to the big day ! Had a great big birthday party with all of our friends and family. We really enjoyed eating icing, did not enjoy birthday hats. We also enjoyed opening presents but the paper was waaay more fun than what was inside it at the time. It's just the beginning.........
